    Project MORE

    Maintenance Operational Robustness & Efficiencies

Project “MORE” aims to transform maintenance operations so that they are better aligned with the following strategic objectives:

    1. increasing technical dispatch reliability
    2. reducing costs and increasing profitability

    The proposed project objectives include:

    • increasing technical dispatch reliability
    • decreasing maintenance-related AOG (aircraft-on-ground) days
    • improving efficiency in maintenance activities
    • reducing maintenance costs
    • creating revenue-generating opportunities through third-party maintenance services
    aircraft hangar

    Why “MORE”?

The aircraft are the 2nd most important asset of an airline, second only to its people. Among the many justifications for the MORE project to be implemented, ranging from brand reputation to profitability and liquidity, we will focus here only on the goal to reduce AOGs (aircraft-on-ground) beyond normal maintenance schedule.

    ca. 50%
Of AOGs are caused by technical Issues

    € +100,000
Cost per grounded aircraft per day
    (estimated)

    Each year, airlines likely face
    hundreds or thousands
    of AOG–days
